Mick Stapleton

In 2006 Mick began his career at Gantry, Inc. (successor to NAI Norris, Beggs & Simpson’s mortgage banking group). Starting as an analyst and working up to a finance officer, he learned from two established industry veterans. During his tenure in the industry, he facilitated commercial real estate financing in excess of $1.5 billion.

He has assisted his clients with permanent financing for multifamily, office, industrial, retail, hotel, and self-storage properties. Additionally, he sources construction loans, bridge loans, and equity for their real estate projects. His deep relationships with major life companies, FHFA sources (Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac), conduits, REITs, pension funds, banks, and credit unions, have been key factors in his success. He has been active in industry groups such as NAIOP and is a past President and Vice President of the Oregon Mortgage Bankers Association.

Mick is a graduate of the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration Finance Real Estate and a minor in Economics. He is a Portland, Oregon native who appreciates the abundance of outdoor recreational opportunities in the Pacific Northwest. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, hiking, camping, biking, fishing, and golfing. He is a former Eagle Scout and his first job when he graduated from college was as a janitor at a U.S. research station in Antarctica.
