Sean Milligan

Sean Milligan is a Director at Ethos Commercial Advisors, where he specializes in multifamily and mixed-use properties, as well as land acquisition and disposition. Sean brings strong local market knowledge and a client-focused approach to every transaction. Before joining Ethos, Sean was a broker at CBRE and was a member of the top producing multifamily team in the Pacific Northwest. Over the past five years, he has been responsible for more than $100 million in total sales and has guided numerous clients through the 1031 exchange process, delivering high-level advisory support to defer taxes, optimize timing, and strategically scale portfolios into larger or higher-performing multifamily assets.

Sean is a member of the Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB), participates in the local CCIM and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) chapters, and is actively engaged in the community. A Portland native with a background in residential property management, he offers an operator’s perspective that provides valuable insight into investment strategy and asset performance.

Sean earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration from the University of Redlands in Southern California. While at Redlands, he was a collegiate basketball athlete and a four-year starting guard. He was the 2016/2017 team MVP, 2016/2017 team captain, and was voted defensive player of the year all four years.

Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the outdoors with his dog, supporting local restaurants, and assisting his alma mater, Jesuit High School as a basketball scout.
